Hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving long weekend!
On Friday you should have:
1. Completed the “Government Payments” overheads.
2. Started....French/English Relations:
Read p. 31 – 34 - Early Years Quebec Act – then complete the questions 1 – 3, and take notes on fig. 2-3
Read p. 36 – 37 – Two Cultures Advancing Toward Nationhood – then complete the questions 9 – 11
overhead notes- Reasons for Confederation – A Country Made For Convenience? if you did not get these in class make sure you get them from someone or come and see me.
Read p. 37 – 39 – Riel Rebellion – then complete question 18
Terms: Nationalism, Canadiens, Ethnocentric, Anglophone, Francophone, Quebec Act 1774, Loyalists, Constitution Act 1791, Lord Durham, Louis Riel, and PM McDonald
